Love is like a flower floating along a stream.
You reach out and catch it, or let it pass and drift away, out of sight.
Break the chain that binds you to the past,
Look to tomorrow, and all the tomorrows to come, There lies happiness.
Time is such a precious commodity
People waste it so badly.
You want and expect so very much
Especially the warmth of a loving touch.
When things don't turn out as you expect them to
You get so very upset, hurt and blue
So you must pick yourself up, and try even harder
And not let yourself become a martyr.
You have got to show the other person you care
Treat them with love and respect, and above all, be fair!
Do with them things that they want in life
But also ask them to do things you want, so that there won't be any strife!
It takes two people that truly care about each other
These two people must be friends as well as lovers.
They must want and share a lot of the same dreams
This is what helps to make wonderful teams!!
You have to give and you have to take
So that your love will never break
We are living symbols of God's love and perfection,
and the greatest affirmation of his existence.
The fusion of our bodies, minds and passion is a glorious expression of life!
We should accept the beauty of the love the lord gave us for each other.
