Hi! Here is the beginning of my meditation pages of exercises to try. I hope
you will find them helpful to you or a loved one. Please try all the
different ones. Because as one may not feel comfortable to you, another
might. And none of these will hurt you in any way. The most they could do
is help you to relax your body, and quiet your mind down a little. And this
is what they are suppose to do!
I have found, and believe many others have as well, that to focus on one
certain thing while feeling ill helps to overcome it faster. Some have to
focus on one object while the room is spinning. I try these exercises, and
I honestly feel they help me. I also think you can help to heal your body
somewhat while doing this.
I didn't make these exercises up. I took a class about 10 years ago with a
very good friend of mine. It was actually a physic class, but I learned
these important helpful tools. No, it hasn't cured my Menieres Disease, but
it has helped me to face many of the difficult days of having MM! It is
also useful in helping me to think things thru that I have a lot of
confusion about. Or if I get upset about something or someone, for some
reason I seem to be able to understand the problem or the person better
after meditating on it/them.
I will hopefully be adding a few new exercises that I am learning now to the
site in the near future, so check back.
